What it’s worth to you

Match your institution’s prestige. The top-notch experience parents & donors expect.

  • Increase adoption.

Delivering events and scheduling invites directly into the phone calendar they use daily increases adoption and retention. They experience a white-glove, high-touch impression before they even step foot on campus.

  • Network Effects

Use and extend your network. Outreach is as simple as adding events to your calendar. Then, ask your network to share it with theirs. And, easily share with professional organizations like NAIS, NWAIS, and CAIS.

  • Reduce overhead.

Reclaim staff bandwidth during peak cycles. LinkMyCal automates the entire scheduling loop—including cancellations and rebookings—freeing your staff to focus on building relationships, not paperwork.

FAQ

A few extra things.

Ask us something else
Do parents and donors use the same interface as the school?

No. Parents and donors manage their events and invites on their native (or preferred) calendar app (Apple Calendar or Google Calendar). Microsoft Outlook support is coming soon.

Why do parents and donors need to link their calendars?

LinkMyCal is what’s called ‘invisible technology.’ It lives behind the scenes, never to be seen by the user. To achieve this, LinkMyCal needs to link the user’s phone calendar with our services.

The connection process users follow gives us permission to do so. Users only need to complete this task once. There’s nothing to update or maintain. And there’s no need for them to ever go back to their account to continue enjoying our services.

How do I amend my availability?

Navigate to the My Availability section. Click on the vertical ellipsis at the top-right corner of the availability window you wish to modify. Select Edit. This will reopen your previously created availability. Make changes as needed and click Publish.

You may also navigate to Blocked Time to auto-delete existing availability slots and (optionally) cancel existing appointments during a planned or unplanned break. No need to email anyone. LinkMyCal will email them for you and delete the events and appointments from their calendars too.

Who can see the availability I publish?

Only the availability and events you choose to share are visible, and only to the people you share them with.

It is key to note that shared calendars are still private. Only you see every appointment on the calendar.

The people you share the calendar with can see two things:

  1. The events you have created on that calendar.
  2. The open availability you have published on it.

They cannot see availability slots that have already been booked by other members — those slots are only visible to you and the person who made that specific booking.

Also note that when you add a contact to a shared calendar, that contact receives an email invitation. They can accept or decline:

  • If they accept, they see your shared events and availability for that calendar.
  • If they decline, they won’t have access.
What calendar access does LinkMyCal request?

We operate on the principle of Data Minimization. That is, we only access and store the information necessary to help organize your life. Please review our Privacy Policy for a detailed description of how we manage your data.

Also note that we are a service provider/processor and, hence, we operate as a technical conduit. We do not own, control, or independently manage the data assets populated into a user's calendar links. Please review our Terms of Service to learn more.

Do my contacts need to pay for LinkMyCal?

No. Only schools and professionals who wish to create availability and find time with others through our interface have a paid account. Everyone else has a free account. Anyone booking with you from their phone calendar will use the free account.
